Kevin practices corporate, construction, commercial and insurance litigation in both English and French.
Kevin frequently represents clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. When he is not in Court, Kevin advises personal, corporate and institutional clients involved in shareholder disputes, corporate governance grievances, construction litigation, as well as insurance coverage litigation. Before joining Conway Baxter Wilson LLP as an associate, Kevin summered and articled with the firm, taking on a large variety of tasks and honing his skills as an advocate. While working with the firm, Kevin has assisted in representing clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, arbitration panels and administrative bodies inncuding the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board and panels created pursuant to the Agreement on Internal Trade.
Kevin obtained his J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Prior to entering law school, Kevin discovered his passion for advocacy while working for an experienced trial lawyer. Kevin pursued this interest in law school, focusing his studies on courses emphasizing advocacy, civil litigation and dispute resolution. While obtaining his J.D., Kevin also participated in three competitive moots. He was selected to represent the University of Ottawa in the annual Davies’ Corporate/Securities law moot in Toronto, where his team won an award for the quality of its factum.
When Kevin is out of the office, he enjoys staying fit, travelling and convincing himself that he can play guitar.
