David Taylor is joining us from Power Law, where he practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on public law, appellate advocacy and minority rights. David graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2012, where he won the gold medal. He clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada, and was called to the bars of Ontario and British Columbia in 2013. He practices in English and French. David has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Court of Appeal for British Columbia, the Court of Appeal of Quebec, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Federal Court of Canada, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.
David hails from Alberta, which is a good thing. This means he is a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. Dependable. Trustworthy. He is also a Franco Albertan. He is a runner, and currently recovering from his third marathon!
We are very pleased that he has agreed to join us. We know he will add talent and energy to our team!
