Alyssa maintains a general civil litigation practice, with a focus on commercial, public and administrative law. She has experience in a variety of matters, including commercial arbitrations, shareholder disputes, trade-related matters, class actions, and judicial reviews. She has assisted with disputes before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court, and administrative tribunals.
Before joining Conway Litigation as an associate, Alyssa also summered and completed her articles with the firm. She received her dual common and civil law degrees (B.C.L./LL.B.) from McGill University, where she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, and was on the Dean’s Honour List. She was also selected to compete in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, where she and her teammate won an award for their written submissions.Read More
Prior to law school, Alyssa studied International Relations at the University of Toronto, and has also studied in France at the Sorbonne (Université Paris 1) and at Sciences Po Paris. Alyssa has her Grade 10 certificate in piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music and enjoys reading and playing soccer in her free time. She speaks English and French and sometimes likes to think she can speak German.
